Managing the day-to-day operation of a team of 7-10 digital specialists in UK & Manila, looking after the display, classified, recruitment, newsletters, property, and programmatic advertising.
Finding company solutions and new vendors to save money & to bring efficiency to the business. I have trained and mentored the team in key areas and organised courses for team development.
• Video transfer: As a project manager, I found a new vendor via a thorough selection process, saving a substantial amount of the contract value. Around 10,000 videos were moved from old to a new platform, and the links were then manually changed to ensure they all worked. I helped train developers and the editorial team on exclusive functionality and video marketing best practices, and created a page on the intranet offering tips and information. I also provided support and account management to internal stakeholders. After a year of success, the contract was extended for a further two years with additional features for a reduced price.
• Outsourcing trafficking work: RBI has divested five brands in the last three years, and advertising volume has also been on the decline which has required us to look for ways to save money while increasing efficiency and campaign management for our customers. After a selection process, three offshore companies were shortlisted and I visited them to help finalise a deal. I worked with legal, security, IT and finance departments to resolve any issues and then helped to train the new team, write process documents and ensure all six staff were well equipped to provide trafficking and campaign management services to support the UK team.
• Virtual recruitment fair on FlightGlobal: on two occasions we organised a virtual fair for two and three days to promote aviation industry jobs. We attracted more than 1500 people to attend the event with 10 sponsors, with many happy customers and successful job placements.

For the first time in the 50 year history of Gurjar Hindu Union (GHU), a charitable organisation for Hindus in Crawley, we decided to print and publish a calendar to celebrate the Golden jubilee.
Vinod, working closely with Bharat Lukka (GHU Director/Governor for Marketing Digital Media & Events ), came up with a simple formula to enable this to happen. The 13 pages of the calendar would each be sponsored to cover the costs. It would contain pictures from our ornate building and temple, it would be impactful and beautiful and issued free of charge to everyone.
GHU worked on the project for three months. The result was amazing. We achieved all the original objectives and produced 2,000 copies of a calendar. It was distributed to the members last year at our Diwali function (October 2017).
Members came in droves to collect their copies and complimented highly on the achievements. Some feedback we received is below :
• Spectacular quality and shows vibrancy of colour
• Information contained in the calendar is very helpful
• The calendar is beautiful, wonderful and so very creative - we loved it!
• It is not only beautiful but large high quality pictures means I am able to hang it proudly in my lounge
